Neil is charged with the responsibility for building our new Continuing Education program at the Community College of the District of Columbia. He has a particular interest in the role that education plays in a thriving community and democracy. Neil’s work experience includes developing election processes in Ghana, West Africa, building civic capacities and strategic planning in cities and institutions around the United States and leading the strategic planning processes and civic engagement practices in the Anthony Williams administration. He was co-field director and policy director in the Adrian Fenty campaign for Mayor and served as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Executive Office of the Mayor until January of 2008. In 2010, Neil was the Policy Director for the Vince Gray for Mayor campaign.
Neil is also a founding Advisory Board member of Neighborhood College at George Washington University and founding member of Collaboration DC. He has a Master’s degree from Georgetown University where he studied international relations and democratic theory and a Bachelors degree from the University of South Florida in political science
