Program Specialist for Systems Operations
Community College of DC
Ms. Raysa Leer, the program specialist for systems operations in the Office of the CEO of the Community College of the District of Columbia, directly supports the CEO and community college staff. She helps to advance the development of the community college, addresses facility management, coordinates institutional budget and finances, and oversees general interdepartmental communication and functionality. Ms. Leer formerly worked for the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the University of Michigan Health Systems, and Andrews University.
A student of cross-cultural communication, she is also fluent in Spanish and mentored bilingual elementary school students through the Spanish Language Internship Program in Detroit. While studying for a year in Sevilla, Spain, she worked as an administrator in El Centro MCP. Ms. Leer received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and Spanish from the University of Michigan, where she was an Angell Scholar.
