The Workforce Development Program (WDP) is an offering of the Community College of the District of Columbia (UDC-CC). WDP helps job hunters develop the skills that local employers need today. Among the available career areas for which training is available are:
- Health Care
- Construction Trades
- Hospitality Careers
- Office Technology
- Administrative Technology
Other classes include:
- GED Preparation
- Accuplacer Preparation
- Digital Literacy Training
Who is eligible?
Adult residents of the District of Columbia are eligible to participate in WDP training.
What does the training cost?
WDP training is offered at no cost to District of Columbia residents.
To review the training choices available for Spring 2013, visit WDP’s current Schedule of Classes and Schedule of Programs. You may indicate your interest in enrolling in WDP training activities by completing a statement of interest.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs are managed by WDP and are fee-based.
